The Karl Rove indictment watch: Shuster says he's convinced

MSNBC reporter lists his reasons for believing that Rove will be charged in Plame case.

From the "For What It's Worth" Department, MSNBC's David Shuster says he's "convinced" that Karl Rove will be indicted in the Valerie Plame case.

Shuster's reasons? They're all pretty speculative, but that doesn't mean they're wrong. First, Shuster says -- and he's surely right about this one -- that Rove wouldn't have testified for a fifth time before Patrick Fitzgerald's grand jury if he didn't think he had to do so to save his skin. Second, whatever Rove told the grand jury this time around, it apparently hasn't resulted in an instant "you're clear" from Fitzgerald. And third, "whenever Fitzgerald has identified somebody as 'Official A'" -- and that's the way Rove is identified in the Scooter Libby indictment -- "that person eventually gets indicted."
