Trivial (or is it?) Number of the Day

For 40 percent of Americans, there's always been a Bush or a Clinton in the White House.

116 million: The number of Americans -- 40 percent of the U.S. population -- for whom the president has always been named Clinton or Bush.

Correction: As readers have noted, the Associated Press article referenced here refers not to a Bush or a Clinton being president but a Bush or a Clinton being "in the White House," which means that the number includes those Americans who were born when George H.W. Bush was serving as Ronald Reagan's vice president.
