Ann Coulter, on why everything would be all right if only the antiwar forces hadn't been right so early and so often.

"Liberals are like people with stale breath talking into your face at a party. You try backing away from them or offering them gum, but then they just start whimpering. They've been using the exact same talking points about how we're losing in Iraq since before we invaded.

"It seems they've finally succeeded in exhausting Americans and, thereby, handing a victory to al-Qaida." -- Ann Coulter, whose argument on the war now essentially seems to be damning liberals -- she refers to them as "al-Qaida in America" -- for being, well, so damn right about the war.

Also, we know we probably shouldn't indulge her, but we couldn't resist pointing out this part of her column:

"[I]f my plans had been implemented, the anti-war crowd would be weeping about Iraqi civilian deaths so much they wouldn't have time to pretend they gave a damn about the loss of American lives."

She doesn't say exactly which plan she's referring to, but we can guess. It's probably this one: "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians."
