War Room

Bad news -- and worse -- for Biden

Only 36 percent of his home state voters say he'd make a good president.

If you're running for president, you might like to start out thinking that you've got your home state's support in the bag. The bad news for Joe Biden: Delaware has only three Electoral College votes. Worse news for Joe Biden: In a new poll, he trails Hillary Clinton by 13 percentage points in the state, and only 36 percent of Delaware voters -- and only 47 percent of Democrats -- say he'd be a good president.

One point of contrast: Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama by a margin of 47 percent to 16 percent in New York, where Biden is drawing the support of just 1 percent of Democratic voters.
