Would-be presidential candidate Fred Thompson, in an interview with Fox News a couple of months ago, declared himself "pro-life" and called Roe v. Wade "bad law and bad medical science."

Would-be senator Fred Thompson, in a 1994 voter survey, checked the box marked "Abortions should be legal in all circumstances as long as the procedure is completed within the first trimester of the pregnancy."
