The first exit polling from CNN: Among New Hampshire Democrats voting today, the economy is a slightly more important issue than Iraq, which is in turn more important than healthcare. Republicans also put the economy and Iraq first and second, but they put immigration third.

The Atlantic's Marc Ambinder says the exit polls show that 46 percent of the Democratic voters made up their minds within the last week, and that independents are voting in higher percentages in the Democratic primary than in the Republican one. That's probably good news for Barack Obama, but not such good news for John McCain.
