Obama response to Clinton debate ad
Wednesday, Hillary Clinton's campaign released a television spot intended to put pressure on Barack Obama to agree to a debate in Wisconsin, which will hold a primary on Feb. 19. The Clinton camp's ad said of Obama, "Maybe he'd prefer to give speeches than have to answer questions."
Thursday, Obama's campaign responded with an ad of its own. In its ad, the Obama camp says the Clinton ad is "the same old politics of phony charges and false attacks."

Update: The Clinton campaign has responded to the Obama ad. In a statement, Clinton supporter Kathleen Falk, county executive in Wisconsin's Dane County, said, "This ad makes clear why Sen. Obama doesn't want to have a one-on-one debate with Sen. Clinton in Wisconsin. He doesn't want people to know that his health care plan leaves 15 million people out. He doesn't want people to know that Sen. Clinton's plan cuts health care costs more aggressively. And he certainly doesn't want people to know that the most authoritative source he can find to validate his housing plan is a story quoting his own campaign."
