Polls close in Pennsylvania

The polls have closed in Pennsylvania, and while there were reports about legal efforts to keep the voting going beyond 8 p.m. (local time), those efforts have apparently been unsuccessful.

In previous contests, the margin of victory appeared to be so large, the networks have been able to announce the eventual winner the moment polls close. That's not the case tonight -- the networks are already making clear that Pennsylvania is "too close to call."
