Well, Fox News’ official “Obama Watch” — complete with “24” style countdown clock — didn’t have to last that long. Just over a month after “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace announced that the show would start reminding viewers, on a weekly basis, of how long it had been since Barack Obama allegedly promised Wallace that he’d appear on the show, he has agreed to an interview for this Sunday. Mediabistro’s TVNewser blog notes that FNC anchor Greg Kelly quipped, “It looks like that Obama Watch clock did the trick.”

FOX News Sunday host Chris Wallace will sit down for an exclusive one-on-one interview with Democratic Presidential Candidate Senator Barack Obama airing on Sunday April 27, 2008.

This interview follows the much talked about “Obama Watch” clock that FOX News Sunday began running on March 16, 2008 to track the time that had lapsed since Senator Obama accepted Wallace’s invitation to appear as a guest: 730 days, 13 hours, 53 minutes and 18 seconds.

The last clock count as of last Sunday was 765 days, 13 hours, 54 min, 47 seconds.
