Oops, he did it again

As I noted in a previous post, on Monday, John McCain got caught in a minor foreign policy gaffe, mistakenly referring to the Czech Republic as Czechoslovakia, which split in two in 1993. It's an error McCain has made more than once before.

Last night, the McCain camp made a halfhearted effort to deflect attention from the mistake, posting to its blog a statement from McCain in which he referred to the Czech Republic but never acknowledged his error. Apparently, he didn't take the lesson to heart, though -- he made the same mistake again today.
