Big Dog, both campaign heads on TV

Will Bill Clinton deign to mention Barack Obama by name on "Meet the Press" today?

Published September 28, 2008 2:15PM (EDT)

The lineup for "Meet the Press" today includes Bill Clinton and chief strategists for both campaigns: Steve Schmidt of the McCain campaign and David Axelrod of the Obama campaign. Should be a good show.

Will Bill Clinton, who has said nice things about Todd Palin recently and, as Chris Rock mercilessly pointed out on "Letterman," also seems to have a problem uttering the name of the 2008 Democratic presidential nominee, actually say Barack Obama's name?

And how will Schmidt -- known as the Bullet, among other nicknames -- and Axelrod spin Friday night's debate?

Could be a good week to tune in ...
