Report: David Gregory to host "Meet the Press"

The search to replace Tim Russert, who died in June, appears to be over.

NBC has reportedly settled on David Gregory as the next moderator of "Meet the Press."  Gregory will replace Tim Russert, who died in June -- Tom Brokaw has been filling in during the search.

Huffington Post's Danny Shea was first with the story; Mike Allen at Politico has since chimed in with a report of his own.
