How to harvest a great work of art

The day of reckoning arrives for the amazing rice paddy artworks of Inakadate.

In "How to farm a great work of art" How the World Works pointed to the amazing rice paddy art renditions of classic Hokusai woodblock prints planted by the rice farmers of Inakadate, Japan.

But even more stunning is the harvest. Pink Tentacle, once again, has the pictures, in which the farmers gouge out chunks of The Great Wave of Kanagawa, transforming an incredible living work of art into plain old bushels of rice.
