google map

Iowans -- well, the 100,000 or so of them who, in a fashion the founding fathers surely intended, are now the most important people on the planet -- are just beginning to caucus to choose the next president. The rest of us are glued to the Web and TV waiting for the spectacle to return some kind of result. But where to find what's going on?

Google's offering a good way. The company has organized with the Democrats and Republicans to collect caucus results as soon as it comes in from each caucus location. Google will post the info on a mashed-up Google map. Click here to see it.
