The 67-year-old sang "It's a Woman's World" on the show's season finale

1980s pop star Cher performed new music, "It's a Woman's World," on last night's "The Voice" season finale, making it her first performance on live television in over a decade. The singer, 67, admitted to HollywoodLife.com that she was nervous about it: "“It was frightening and fun, when you haven’t actually been live and been in front of an audience. It wouldn’t be bad if it was a concert, but to be in front of a gazillion people made it a little bit uncomfortable and nerve-racking. Plus, I have had some really hard times with my throat. I went to Russia and had something and my voice hasn’t been great, so I was really nervous. I think what I didn’t have with my voice, I covered with having a good time!”

If the singer was nervous, though, she certainly didn't show it. Cher returned to the stage in true Cher fashion, with a wig that turned her into some really weird bird. Watch her performance, below:

Although it started as cruel satire celebrating the death of former U.K. prime minister Margaret Thatcher, some of the Internet is reading the "nowthatchersdead" hashtag on Twitter as "Now That Cher's Dead." (To be clear, Cher is not dead. Cher is very much alive.):

[embedtweet id="321299987919142912"]

[embedtweet id="321233092809457666"]

[embedtweet id="321232221346349056"]

[embedtweet id="321236542821646337"]

[embedtweet id="321233054398046208"]

You will be spared the "If I Could Turn Back Time" and "Believe" puns, but the organizers of the hashtag created an incredibly irreverant playlist, and it does not include Cher.

To be fair, journalist Martin Belam totally predicted this would happen (and that said post would appear):

[embedtweet id="284761751520702465"]

Gay rights didn't matter to Rob Portman, Dick Cheney and these other politicians and celebs -- until it hit home

Ohio's Rob Portman made headlines on Friday as the first sitting Republican senator to back marriage equality in the Senate. But like so many other conservative lawmakers before him, the senator didn't think much about the rights of gays and lesbians until the issue got personal.

For Portman, it was his 21-year-old son coming out as gay that "allowed" him to see the issue as a "dad who loves his son a lot and wants him to have the same opportunities that his brother and sister would have -- to have a relationship like Jane and I have had for over 26 years.”

Did you stop following the loon after his election meltdown? Well, the Donald is back on Twitter. Look out, Cher!

Since he called for "revolution" after President Obama's reelection, Donald Trump has seemed a little chastened on Twitter. His feed has become a dull litany of inspirational quotes from old generals and presidents, mixed with plugs for his hotels during the holidays and occasional concerns about the fiscal cliff and Paula Broadwell's marriage.

But if you've stopped following him, well, a little of the crazy is back. In recent days, Trump has picked fights with Cher, Rosie O'Donnell and Chelsea Handler, and even gone after the Red Cross. And sometimes he just randomly defends himself from all the people who are disgusted by him. Here's a taste:

Attacking Rosie:

[embedtweet id="270972240290516993"]

[embedtweet id="270972032756355072"]

Baiting the Huffington Post:

[embedtweet id="270645522711330816"]

Picking on Cher:
