Snoop Lion releases anti-gun video featuring his daughter and Drake

Snoop Lion, a rapper reborn with a mission for peace and positivity, has released an anti-gun music video today featuring Drake and Cori B, Snoop's daughter.

"No Guns Allowed" is a track off of his new album, "Reincarnated." In a clip from his upcoming documentary of the same title, the rapper explains that the track and his daughter's involvement in it is meant to set things right with his family after his darker, more volatile past.

On Christmas, the Billboard-chart-dominating star took to Instagram to vent his spleen against retailers with an image of a groaning shelf -- unironically designated "beauty" -- full of caps emblazoned with the acronym YOLO. "Walgreens....you gotta either chill or cut the cheque," he wrote in Canadian, adding a "Macy's...same goes for you" warning under a photo of a YOLO-themed Charlie Brown and Snoopy shirt. Coming soon: Morgan Freeman getting huffy every time someone mentions a bucket list, and Robert Carlyle issuing an injunction against all forms of Full Montyism.

Who's more stomach-turning: Chris Brown or his army of Twitter trolls? You know what? Don't answer that. Let's just call this one a draw.

It's been almost four years since Brown's notorious violent altercation with his then-girlfriend Rihanna and subsequent assault conviction. That's a long time, especially when you consider that Rihanna herself has made it more than clear she's back on friendly terms with him. But to those fans and supporters who say it's time to move on and put his abusive past behind him, allow us to illuminate why Brown keeps making that a tall order. There was the "Good Morning America" tantrum. There was the nightclub brawl with Drake. And then there's what happened Sunday night on Twitter.

An excited Drake: “I got my high school diploma”

NEW YORK (AP) -- A day after earning his high school diploma, an excited Drake performed hit songs for a few hundred people at an event for Tyra Banks.

The 25-year-old told the crowd Thursday night that he took a small break from music and "spent some time going back to high school."

"I got my high school diploma," he said with excitement as the crowd roared.

Drake also posted on Twitter late Wednesday that he earned a 97 percent on his final exam and an 88 percent in his last class through work with a private tutor. The Canadian dropped out of high school, ironically, to star in the high school TV series "Degrassi: The Next Generation." He played the role of Jimmy Brooks.
