Despite early bluster from Senate Republicans about his nomination, Eric Holder had a relatively easy time being confirmed as the nation’s next attorney general. The Senate voted 75-21 in favor of confirmation Monday night.
Holder, who will become the first African-American attorney general in U.S. history, will be sworn in on Tuesday.
