Today is Yosemite National Park's birthday. The vast California park, to which 1.3 million visitors flock annually, is celebrating 123 years of sequoias, waterfalls and breathtaking vistas that stretch over 760,000 acres. This year's anniversary is particularly notable, as the park survived last month's record-setting fire more or less intact.
Fittingly, today's Google Doodle was designed in Yosemite's honor. Unfortunately, if you click on the doodle, and then on one of the first pages that shows up in your search results, you get this:
