In what Jon Stewart has hailed as “maybe the best 40 minutes any legislative chamber anywhere in the country has ever spent,” the New York State Senate has passed a bill making yogurt — not pretzels, and not yogurt-covered pretzels, just yogurt — the state’s official snack.
