Facebook seems to be down right now for a large number of people, which invites the philosophical question: If your estranged aunt is posting pictures of herself in a bikini, but no one is around to see them, can you be permanently scarred?

According to TechCrunch's Romain Dillet, some will be able to load the homepage but will receive an error message as soon as they attempt to click on a link. Dillet wasn't even able to load the developer platform's status page to see if third-party apps were still functional.
