Actor and comedian Bob Odenkirk revealed a bit more about "Better Call Saul," in an interview Monday night at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco. Turns out the "Breaking Bad" spinoff, due out in early 2015, will be a "total drama." In fact he's even broken down the precise ratio of drama to humor: "It's 85 percent drama, 15 percent comedy."

The actor, who will reprise his "Breaking Bad" character, Saul Goodman, in the upcoming spinoff, also revealed that he hasn't watched a single frame of himself in the new show.

"I really don’t want to know what’s coming later and I don’t look back at what came before," he told Hollywood Reporter's Tim Goodman.

"I think it’s a perfectly good way to approach acting to not know what the f— is going on," Odenkirk continued.

Odenkirk apparently didn't know much about "Breaking Bad" when he was filming. He explained that by the time "Breaking Bad" was shooting the third season, he had only watched 10 minutes of the acclaimed show -- and Bryan Cranston called him out for it. Hollywood Reporter explains:

"Odenkirk employed the wrong tone in a line referring to another character who Saul didn’t like. 'That guy’s not your friend, don’t say it like that,' Cranston corrected Odenkirk, adding: 'You don’t watch the show, do you?'"

Odenkirk also discussed being able to add more depth to the Saul Goodman character -- he can do more than just react.

"One of the cool things about playing Saul now is that I get to have those moments," Odenkirk explained. "I’ve certainly gotten a chance to dig deep in 'Better Call Saul.'"
