Gwyneth Paltrow usually gets a great deal of scrutiny from the press — and from Martha Stewart. So I was prepared for a massive eye roll at her appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” where she sang Broadway versions of rap songs. (I know, it doesn’t sound promising.)
The performance was surprisingly delightful. Paltrow displayed her wide vocal range — including a comedically low register — Fallon was his usual goofy self, and the song choice was top notch. Watch below:
