Car commercial themes have run the gamut during this Super Bowl, as they're wont to do. However, there has been a trend away from the flashy (Lexus) toward the sentimental (Nissan, Toyota, etc.).
Dodge, however figured out how to meld the two. With a subtle shift in tone, an awesome cast of elderly folks, and some well-steered advice the advertisement manipulated our emotions from nostalgic to engine roaring. Well played, Dodge. Hear the advice below:
