In honor of Easter, Prairie Farms dairy company has released Peeps-branded milk, available in marshmallow, chocolate marshmallow and Easter egg nog flavors. Even more ludicrous than these flavors is Prairie Farms' attempt to brand the egg nog variety as healthful, writing, "Easter Egg Nog boasts 5 grams of protein and 15 percent of the daily value of calcium, so go ahead and indulge."

Actually, don't. One serving has 250 calories and 37 grams of sugar and will immediately give you diabetes.

The funky flavors are only available in the Midwest, so chances are you'll miss out on the seasonal marketing ploy unless you live in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee and parts of Wisconsin, Iowa and Ohio.

"Our customers want variety and we're thrilled to partner with PEEPS to bring America's newest milk flavors to the dairy case. Prairie Farms PEEPS Milk is 100 percent real milk balanced with just the right amount of premium ingredients to deliver sweet PEEP-tastic flavor -- sure to delight consumers of all ages," said a Peeps spokesperson in a statement.

A few anchors at KSDK, a local St. Louis, Mo. television station, tried the flavors, noting that chocolate marshmallow tasted basically like "extra-sugary chocolate milk," the egg nog flavor tasted "a lot like egg nog," and the Peeps marshmallow one "tastes just like you'd think."
