It may feel like "SNL 40" happened ages ago -- but the memory of a frowning Bill O'Reilly sitting in the audience is apparently still vivid as ever for Will Ferrell.
Ferrell visited "The Letterman Show" Tuesday night and, when asked what his take-away memory from the milestone event was, he didn't answer with "Celebrity Jeopardy" or any sketch for that matter. He, instead, responded with a memory of looking up and seeing the "sourpuss" Fox News commentator dead-still while the rest of the crowd was clapping. "A real charmer," Ferrell quipped.
"I don't know what he was doing there if he wasn't a fan of 'SNL'," Ferrell said. "Maybe he was. Maybe he's really just a student of comedy."
