In a Facebook tirade last week about the Duggar family scandal, Sarah Palin blasted the liberal media for overlooking Lena Dunham's similarly "pedophilic" admission, going on to suggest that if not for the double standards of the media, she'd easily lose her HBO spot after coming clean about her questionable behavior with her younger sister.

In an interview that aired Wednesday on Extra, Palin revisited this tirade, reaffirming her belief that if the Duggars' show "19 & Counting" is pending for cancelation, so too should HBO's "Girls."

“Lena Dunham is the most exploitive character I’ve ever heard of who brags about, offers up, is celebrated for her sexual exploitation of a little girl — breaks my heart,” Palin said in the interview.

She continued: “My daughter Bristol had been watching the interview about the Duggar situation, and it occurred to her – wait a minute, why is this entire family being crucified when you have someone on the other end of the political spectrum, a very, very liberal actress who is seen as being cute and perky and ha-ha, look at her — she sexually abused a little girl and yet she is rewarded with fame and fortune."
