Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal's creepy nanny cam-style announcement video had Larry Wilmore scratching his head on Thursday night's "The Nightly Show."

In a segment aptly titled "Come On Bobby, It's Not Happening," Wilmore, much like his Comedy Central colleague Jon Stewart, found the approach baffling: "What is this, 'To Catch A President?'" Wilmore quipped.

Then, observing the underwhelming response from Jindal's children as he delivered the big announcement, Wilmore was stunned once again: "That's how they reacted? That's your base!"

The silver lining to all of this? Wilmore was finally able to debut a joke he's been sitting on for a very long time (45 years, to be exact): "I can now refer to the rest of the Republican field, as 12 Angry Men," he said.
