In the past few years the YouTube coming-out video has become its own subgenre — and more recently people that identify as asexual are using the platform to talk about their experiences and connect with others in the "ace" community.

Users like Vesper aka Queer as Cat, Damian Parker aka Heyo Damo and Bower from Aces Wild have all used YouTube as a microphone to tell their stories.
