"Boring! Talk about Trump's dick, you dirty bastard": Trevor Noah unleashes devastating assault on media's Trump coverage

"The Daily Show" unloads on the TV coverage that helped create Trump -- especially CBS stooge Les Moonves

"Daily Show" host Trevor Noah last night explained "the vinyl sofa stuffed with racist refrigerator poetry" that is Donald Trump in a segment called "How the F#%k We Got Here."

Noah noted a recent Economist ranking of a Trump presidency among the top-ten global risks, on par with the threat of jihadi terrorism destabilizing the global economy.

"This highlights the question I think many of us have been asking," Noah said. "How did Donald Trump go from being the guy who fake fired people on TV to the orange-tinted terror?"

Noah placed significant (deserved) blame on news media, who he said, "has been giving Trump free infomercials, which he turns into what look like actual infomercials."

"The media has given Trump $2 billion worth of free coverage," he continued, citing a recent New York Times calculation. "That's the equivalent of every commercial in the Super Bowl for the last five years."

"And, frankly," he added, "America would be better off with President Puppy Monkey Baby."
