"I was fired from my job for being gay": Recent bill allows government contractors to discriminate against LGBT people

The bill is based on "religious beliefs"

A new anti-LGBT provision has been added to a House bill that was passed on Wednesday, allowing federal contractors to openly discriminate against gay and transgender people based on religious beliefs. The amendment overturns the latest order from President Obama in 2014 on protecting the rights of LGBGT people in the workplace. However, this bill has created an uproar from both Republicans and Democrats. Watch our video for more details.
