In response to a recently proposed bill in Pakistan, which would allow husbands to "lightly beat" their wives, Pakistani women are using the hashtag #TryBeatingMeLightly to let their husbands know that they will do in response to violence in their homes.

The bill was created by the Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology, which is a constitutional body in Pakistan and will permit husbands to beat their wives when they talk too loudly or refuse sexual intercourse. The bill includes other harsh restrictions.

Check out how many women, along with professional photographer Fahhad Rajper, are speaking out against the bill with #TryBeatingMeLightly.
