What a bummer: No, Bernie Sanders will not be skydiving into his California rally tonight

Dreams don't always come true — Bernie's reps quash internet rumor

Any hope that Bernie Sanders might skydive into his campaign rally in Cloverdale, California, Friday was promptly crushed by the lamestream media.

"No," Sanders' press secretary texted Politico's Daniel Strauss. "He is not."

The rumor originated in a Press Democrat report Thursday that claimed Sanders' people approached NorCal Skydiving jumpmaster, Jimmy Halliday, and said, "they would offer the 74-year-old Vermont senator the option of parachuting into the rally site."

Well, Bernie said no, which is kind of a bad look considering George H.W. Bush skydived eight times between the ages of 75 and 90.
