Since the February launch of "Full Frontal" on TBS, Samantha Bee has consistently drawn praise from fans and critics for her show's fearless takedowns of politicians and the media. And Monday night, the only female host on late-night TV showed — however briefly — that she's not even afraid to blast her own employer when she feels it's warranted.

During the first night of the Democratic National Convention, TBS Network's official account tweeted a video titled "Hillary Clinton's Call of the Wild" that juxtaposed the former Secretary of State's laugh with clips of cackling hyenas. "Move over donkey! There's a new mascot in town... #ImWithHyena," read the TBS tweet accompanying the video, which represents the latest entry in a long history of attacks on Clinton's laugh, which critics say are rooted in sexism.

Whoever was running the official "Full Frontal" Twitter account didn't find the video funny, and quoted a favorite tweet of Clinton's in a testy response to TBS: "Delete your account."

Both tweets were quickly deleted, but, as always, screengrabs live on forever:

The video in question is no longer available on The Heckler, the TBS-owned site that produced it. TBS apologized today, saying in a statement that "[m]oving forward we'll leave political satire to professionals like Samantha Bee."
