Masego, the genre-defying artist who is combining hip-hop and jazz into his own new musical category, TrapHouseJazz, will appear on “Salon Stage” with an exclusive set. The completely unique, alternative spin on hip-hop mixes Masego’s talents on the saxophone with the bass of trap and the synth of house music. Masego is currently touring with Leon Bridges. Check out his groovy single "Lady Lady” before tuning in for "Salon Stage" on Thursday.

"Salon Talks" is celebrating the hip-hop legend that Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Janelle Monáe all say inspired their work — Lauryn Hill. Award-winning feminist author and journalist Joan Morgan, who coined the term “hip hop feminism” in the 1990s, presents her new book “She Begat This: 20 Years of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill."

And we’ll talk rock with Wayne Kramer, the founding guitarist of Detroit punk legends MC5. Kramer’s new book, "The Hard Stuff: Dope, Crime, the MC5, and My Life of Impossibilities,” is a memoir tracing the band’s revolutionary beginnings in 1960s counterculture, Kramer's struggle with addiction, his path to sobriety and the founding of Jail Guitar Doors USA, his non-profit that brings music and instruments to prisons. MC5 is kicking off their 50th anniversary tour this fall.

Plus, “Better Call Saul” fans, don’t miss Rhea Seehorn. The actress who plays Kim will talk all about the series' fourth season, out now.
