Graphic video reportedly shows possible London machete attack suspect

A man with apparently bloody hands, holding a machete, gave a video interview shortly after the attack took place

A graphic video, taken with a cellphone and shown by ITV News, shows the aftermath of the brutal attack in Woolwich in London on Wednesday, with a reported suspect in the attack giving an interview with apparently bloodied hands, carrying a knife and machete. "We swear by almighty Allah," the man says. "We will never stop fighting you."

"You people will never be safe. Remove your governments — they don't care about you," he adds.

“There are strong indications that it is a terrorist incident,” David Cameron said of the attack, according to the New York Times.

The AP reports:

Commander Simon Letchford said reports indicated that one man was being assaulted by two other men, and that a number of weapons – including possibly a firearm – were used in the attack.

He confirmed that one man was found dead at the scene and that two men were shot by police and taken to separate London hospitals. One of them is in serious condition, according to London Ambulance Service.

The victim was reportedly a British soldier.
