Maybe we're jaded about our fast food meat, but Gawker's take -- "raw McRib meat looks exactly how you'd expect raw McRib meat to look" -- seems pretty spot on. After all, we're talking about a concoction of pig innards reportedly containing "a flour-bleaching agent most commonly used in the manufactur[ing] of foamed plastics like gym mats and the soles of shoes," among 70-some other fun ingredients. That's not to mention the 980 milligrams of sodium and 24 grams of fat.
While the photo's blowing up on Reddit, commenters seem mostly preoccupied with the ungloved hand gripping their future lunch. A few cynics have pointed out that a true "wtf worthy" picture would depict fresh, unprocessed meat.
