Obama, first president to launch White House science fairs, hosts his last

It was part of his "Educate to Innovate" campaign

President Obama first began the tradition of White House science fairs with the mission of promoting STEM education.

He's spent the last six years celebrating young scientists and innovators at what he's called "the most fun day of the year", and today was his last time doing as president.
