He doesn't say what prompted him to walk off a CNN set, but he says it wasn't a concern over questions about Valerie Plame.

Bob Novak has just apologized for uttering an expletive and walking off the set of CNN's "Inside Politics" Thursday. "I apologize for my conduct and I'm sorry I did it," Novak said in an interview with the Associated Press. There's no word on why he did it, but Novak insists that his tantrum had nothing to do with the fact that Ed Henry was about to ask him about the Valerie Plame case. "That had nothing to do with it, absolutely nothing," Novak said. "I was sorry he said that."
