On "Fox & Friends" Thursday, Eric Trump agreed with Senator Bob Corker (R), who yesterday said that Ivanka Trump would be her father's ideal running-mate.
"I know it probably wouldn't pass muster," the senator said, "but I don't think I've met a more composed, brilliant, beautiful-in-every-way person."
"What do you think of that?" co-host Steve Doocy asked.
"I agree!" Trump said with an enthusiasm bordering on uncouth. "She's got the beautiful looks," he said, as if that qualified for her for the second highest office in the land. "She's smart -- smart, smart, smart -- she's certainly got my vote."
He added that she'd meet the minimum standards for the office because she's turning 35 in October.
Co-host Ainsley Earhardt added that she's "certainly got the business sense," to which Trump replied, "she's amazing!"
They discussed more serious contenders, with Trump saying that in addition to "a few generals," his father is getting "calls from all these people -- the best people -- who want to throw their hat into the ring."
