GOP nominee Donald Trump effectively split one Twitter tirade between Hillary Clinton, who accepted the Democratic nomination on Thursday night, and Mike Bloomberg, the billionaire former-mayor of New York, who spoke on Wednesday.

Clinton repeatedly trashed her opponent in a lengthy acceptance speech. "Imagine him in the Oval Office facing a real crisis,” she said. “A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons.”

On Friday morning, however, Trump awoke reenergized and hungry to commandeer the news cycle:

Bloomberg's appearance at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday reportedly "blind-sided" the Trump campaign.

Another former-mayor, Rudy Giuliani — who spoke at the Republican's convention one week prior — told The New York Post, "I didn’t know until you did that Mike would give a speech at the Democratic Party convention."
