How a film tested Edie Falco’s values
Acclaimed actor Edie Falco opens up on “Salon Talks” about the MeToo and Time’s Up movements in Hollywood, her work with PETA, and her roles in her newest film “Outside In" and in Louis C.K.’s movie, “I Love You, Daddy."
Falco plays a high school teacher with a complicated relationship with a former student and ex-con (played by Jay Duplass) in the new film “Outside In.” “I’d rather do stuff that’s more complicated, that isn’t pretty, that’s messed up,” she said about why she likes acting in indie films like this one.
