Watch indie rockers Dispatch perform “Dear Congress" and demand stronger gun control laws

Indie rock band Dispatch is demanding lawmakers take action on gun control. Watch their “Salon Stage” performance of “Dear Congress,” a song inspired by their response to mass shooting tragedies. Band members Brad Corrigan and Chad Urmston tell SalonTV that they wrote the song to call out American politicians and the presence of their empty “thoughts and prayers” on social media and cable news, despite inaction on meaningful gun reform legislation. The hugely popular indie band, known for their strong fan base and commitment to community service, says they are using this phase of their music careers to speak out on issues they care deeply about.
