The hosts of the hit podcast "Guys We F*cked," Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson, are celebrating sexuality and speaking openly about it.
How does their mission to forge a more open conversation about sexuality convergence with the #MeToo movement? The hosts spoke to Salon about how they see their goals aligning with the reporting and accountability currently taking place on the topic of sexual harassment and assault. The comedians joined Salon's Alyona Minkovski on "Salon Talks" to discuss their new book "F*CKED: Being Sexually Explorative and Self-Confident in a World That's Screwed."
"The one thing that connects every incident whether it's serial rape, or groping, or anything where you feel entitled to violate somebody like that, is what the fuck?," Hutchinson said. "Where did it go wrong for you to feel like you could do that and it's totally fine?"
According to Fisher, we may be in the midst of a sexual turning point. "I feel like the '90s were a much more sexually open time and then we kind of buttoned up a little bit, and now we're in a place again where we're like, our sexuality isn't something we need to hide," she said.
