Dr. Billy J. Stratton is an associate professor of English at the University of Denver where he teaches American/Native American literature, film, and culture. He has written books on Indian captivity narratives and Stephen Graham Jones, with articles in a variety of venues including Time, The Hill, Los Angeles Review of Books, The Independent, Arizona Quarterly, Wíčazo Ša Review, Transmotion, and here at Salon, among many others.
