We all recognize the imposing fortress known as Little Rock Central High School, and remember the frightening images of African-American students, flanked by National Guard soldiers and harassed by angry white folks when attempting to enter the school for their first day. HBO's documentary "Little Rock Central: 50 Years Later" (premieres 8 p.m. EDT) revisits those days through the eyes of the brave students who dared to enter the school, revealing the tumultuous emotions that still exist for some of them. The documentary also delves into the social structure of the high school today, a top-level public school where many kids get into the Ivy League, but blacks and whites still segregate themselves socially despite the efforts of the administration to mix things up.
