New pope: Best of the worst reactions
Conservatives, shrill liberals and other idiots take to Twitter over Francis I, and Erick Erickson takes the cake
By Natasha LennardTopics: pope, new pope, Pope Francis I, Erick Erickson, best of the worst, News
There’s a new pope — Francis I — who unsurprisingly has terrible views on gay and reproductive rights. He has somewhat better views on poverty and inequality. He personally helped Argentina’s right-wing military junta hold political prisoners after 1976. And here’s what the best of the worst of Twitter has to say about it (worst/best of all, Erick Erickson):
That lefties are accusing the new pope of handing over lefties to the right wing junta for execution makes me adore the new pope.

Lefties upset about the death squads in Argentina back in the day are all about death panels in the United States.

Maybe in like 10 years the Pope will be a gay, ethnic minority woman who has a disability! #Hopeful #Unlikely
