After 14 years of marriage, formidable News Corp CEO Rupert Murdoch has filed for divorce against his punch-throwing, allegedly nanny-abusing wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch.
Deadline reports that the filing was made this morning in New York State Supreme Court.
According to Forbes, the 82-year-old media baron has a net worth of about $11 billion. An initial review from Deadline asserts that "that the divorce will not impact Murdoch’s media holdings," however. "New Corp is in the process of spinning off its publishing assets into a separately traded company. Murdoch will control both of these entities."
