"Fox and Friends" host thinks Hispanic colleague "grew up on tacos"

"No, I did not grow up on tacos. I'm Nicaraguan. It's not a Nicaraguan food," said meteorologist Maria Molina

"Fox and Friends," the cable program most likely to induce Americans into a national existential crisis, this morning celebrated National Taco Day.

Co-host Brian Kilmeade was particularly delighted, as there is no better way to celebrate National Taco Day than with resident all-things-Mexican expert meteorologist Maria Molina, who Kilmeade assumed "grew up on tacos."

Steve Doocy scoffed at Kilmeade's ignorance, saying, "She did not grow — she's Colombian."

Alas, Molina is neither Colombian nor Mexican. "No, I did not grow up on tacos," she explained. "I'm Nicaraguan. It's not a Nicaraguan food."

But Elisabeth Hasselbeck wouldn't accept that as an answer, hypothesizing, "But if you did — if you did grow up on tacos ..."

So yeah, happy Taco Day, everybody!
