While speaking at the Values Voter Summit, Ben Carson, the celebrated neurosurgeon and recent Fox News hire, called Obamacare "the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery," according to a new report from Right Wing Watch.
Carson went on to argue that the healthcare program "is slavery, in a way, because it is making all of us subservient to the government." The bill was passed, he continued, not in order to improve America's healthcare system or provide insurance to those who could not obtain it otherwise, but rather because "it was about control."
Carson then went on to talk about Vladimir Lenin, the 20th century Soviet dictator, because of course he did.
