Though its website is borderline porn that sexualizes child models, American Apparel has taken an impressive step in challenging conventional beauty norms by featuring 62-year-old model Jackie O’Shaughnessy in lingerie.
As Fashionista notes, though O’Shaughnessy is no stranger to the clothing retailer, this is the first time she's appeared in lingerie for the site.
American Apparel boasted of the 6-foot-tall "advanced" model on its Facebook page to advertise Floral Lace Lingerie with the caption: “Sexy has no expiration date.”
